Amethyst Agency of Broward is a Community Mental Health Agency that provides mental health and substance abuse recovery services to diverse populations.   
Our services include:

• Psychosocial Rehabilitation for people who are diagnosed with chronic and persistent mental illnesses group therapy, individual therapy.  This includes services for co-occurring substance abuse disorders
• Medication management
• Psychiatric evaluation and follow-up
• Group therapy
• Individual therapy
• Specialty groups

 
These services are provided in an accepting environment with experienced professionals.  We teach life skills and coping mechanisms so our clients can increase their ability to function in their daily lives and their communities.  This enhances their lives by providing them with the skills to become increasingly independent.   We also provide referral services to other services our clients may need to enhance their lives further and to ease them into improved community experiences.

We offer personalized community based services. We are here to put our clients in the primary position of increasing their ability to function in their community.  The groups offered are all geared toward making sure each client is heard and their primary needs are met.  This is all offered in a supportive environment with professionals dedicated to assist each client with the services and knowledge they need and deserve to reach their potential.
